The 11th Annual ‘Roll & Stroll’ event raises funds for pancreatic cancer patients & research

MADISON (WKOW) – The Carbone Cancer Center held its 11th annual ‘Roll & Stroll’ event on Sunday to help support pancreatic cancer patients and research.

People were able to walk, run, bike or roll in several different events. There were several bike routes from a 5K to a 50K. There was also a two-mile stroll option. The event also had music, raffles, games and food.

‘Roll & Stroll’ had a fundraising goal of $200,000 for this year’s campaign. Another goal of the event was to uplift cancer patients, survivors, families and caregivers.

“It just gives our survivors and our caregivers and family members that encouragement to keep on going, to keep on fighting,” said ‘Roll & Stroll’ Chair Paige Zezulka. Read more…
