14 Mar Dr. Dudley Lamming named next DOM Vice Chair for Biomedical Research
Effective April 1, 2024, Dudley Lamming, PhD, associate professor, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, will become the Department of Medicine’s next Vice Chair for Biomedical Research.
“I am looking forward to working with Dr. Schnapp, the faculty, and the Office of Research Services team to elevate the science and expand the culture of inquiry within the department,” said Dr. Lamming.
The Vice Chair for Biomedical Research promotes and supports the mission of discovery and collaboration in the department, helps train the next generation of laboratory-based researchers, is the primary departmental liaison to basic science departments across campus, and guides the recruitment and professional development of our scientists and basic science-oriented faculty.
