26 Jul UW Health announces changes to onsite phlebotomy training
Effective August 1, UW Health Clinical Laboratories will be making changes to its on-site phlebotomy training.
UW Health will now offer two options:

- Refresher Training – For those with prior phlebotomy experience – One day, 8 hours
- Full Training – 20 hour training offered M-F with 4 hours per day
Those interested in setting up a refresher or full training session should contact Nina Gleichauf, UW Health Clinical Laboratories Phlebotomy Supervisor.
Please include the following information in your request:

- Preferred training (refresher or full)
- Staff member (trainee) name and email address
- Requesting facility name, address, and primary contact
- Training requests must be received by the facility approver. Staff members to be trained are not permitted to request or schedule training.
- Please submit training requests at least two months prior to the desired date.
