Our fantastic colleague, Mabel Peters, was recently interviewed by Dr. Gloria Ladson-Billings as part of Mt. Zion Church’s annual Black History Month celebration. This year’s theme is focused on highlighting the great work of healthcare professionals in the community.
Mabel works with us as a clinical trials liaison, engaging with UW Health patients to help educate them and answer questions about clinical trials participation. In the interview, she discusses her career path, and why diverse participation is so critical to the success of clinical trials.
